Location is no barrier. We work with organizations across Canada - fully remote, hybrid or in-person where it makes sense. Your timezone works for us.
Strategy isn't the hard part. Execution is.
We don't drop a binder on your desk and call it consulting. We roll up our sleeves and work alongside your team until the plan is actually running.
We join your team
We don't advise from a distance. We manage direct reports, run meetings and drive daily execution alongside your staff, in-person or remotely.
Proven frameworks, plain language
Methods from high-growth startups adapted and explained so your board and frontline staff can actually use them, not just reference them.
Practical AI integration
We help your team use simple AI tools to cut administrative busywork. No tech degree required, only where it actually helps.
Measurable outcomes
We set KPIs before we start and review them throughout. You always know what's working and what needs adjusting.
Where we can help.
Every engagement is tailored. Here's where most clients start. All of these can be delivered fully remotely.

Act as your part-time COO or Business Development Lead
Build scalable internal processes and workflows
Oversee key projects and business development initiatives
Mentor mid-level staff to grow internal leadership capacity
| "We have a strategic plan. It's in a binder somewhere. Nobody really uses it."
Facilitate collaborative planning with your board, staff and partners
Build a 3-5 year roadmap your team can actually follow
Set up KPIs to track real community impact
Lead engagement sessions, run smoothly or in-person
| "We have a great idea for a new program but no one to see it through from start to finish."
Manage the full project lifecycle, from whiteboard to launch
Design small-scale pilot tests before full rollout
Embed in your team to keep things on time and on budget
Build programs around what your community actually needs
| "My team has great ideas but no structured way to test them without wasting months and money."
Facilitate interactive workshops via video or in-person - your choice
Train your team on how to validate ideas quickly before spending real resources
Audit your client journey to find and fix pain points
Provide frameworks and toolkits that your team keeps long after the workshop
Remote-first, relationship-driven.
We've built our practice to work just as well over video as in a boardroom.
Here's how a typical engagement unfolds - wherever you are.
Discovery call (free, 20 min)
We talk about your biggest challenge, what you've tried and whether we're the right fit. No pitch.
Proposal & scoping
We send a clear, plain-language proposal with scope, timeline and fees. No surprises.
Kickoff & access
We get oriented. We meet your team, review existing materials and set up shared tools.
Embedded execution
We work alongside your team with regular check-ins, shared docs and communication between sessions.
Review & handoff
We wrap up with a structured handoff so your team owns what we built together, not dependent on us.
Ongoing if needed
We can continue with a lighter retainer for ongoing support. There's no pressure to extend, only if it makes sense.

President & Principal Consultant
I started Good Point because I kept seeing the same pattern: smart, mission-driven organizations hitting a wall because they lacked the operational infrastructure to match their ambition. Too often, the Executive Director was holding everything together through sheer force of will and slowly burning out.
That's a solvable problem. With more than 20 years of experience across nonprofit and business leadership, I bring COO-level expertise to organizations that need it most. Without the full-time price tag.
I work with clients across Canada, fully remote or hybrid. I'm a serial entrepreneur (two businesses co-founded), a certified Project Management Professional and a longtime advocate for underrepresented entrepreneurs. I apply Lean Startup and Human-Centered Design methods not because they're trendy but because they work when resources are tight and the stakes are high.
Good Point is headquartered in Windsor, Ontario but has no geographic limits on who we serve.
Q: Do I have to be based in Windsor to work with you?
Not at all. We work with organizations across Canada. Most of our engagements are fully remote or hybrid. We use video calls, shared documents and async communication. If you're in Vancouver, Halifax or anywhere in between, we make it work.
Q: What exactly is fractional leadership?
It means you get a senior leader, COO-level experience, working for your organization part-time. You get real operational expertise without a full-time hire. Most fractional clients work with us 1–3 days per week.
Q: How is this different from a consultant who just writes reports?
We don't hand you a document and disappear. We become part of your team — joining meetings, managing staff, driving execution. The deliverable isn't a plan; it's a plan that's actually working.
Q: We're a small nonprofit with a tight budget. Can we still work together?
Absolutely! We understand constrained resources. That's the whole reason fractional leadership exists. Reach out and we'll have an honest conversation. Sometimes a short project engagement makes more sense than an ongoing retainer.
Q: What does the discovery call involve?
It's a 20-minute conversation — no pitch, no pressure. We'll ask about your biggest challenge, what you've tried and whether what we do is a genuine fit for where you are right now.
Q: How do you measure success?
We set specific KPIs with you at the start of every engagement and review them together throughout. Before we begin, we agree on what "done" looks like so there's no ambiguity at the end.

Just an honest conversation about where you're stuck and whether we can help.
